Key highlights:

  • Spotlight on emerging Technologies
  • AI-driven Innovation with Dolffia
  • Industry Whitepaper Release

NTT DATA attended the DIA Europe 2024. The event is an International conference for the industries’ professionals and the stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and the medical devices. The event constitutes a conference in terms of networking and discussions on what has been transformed in the Life Sciences due to digitalization. During 2024, around 1,500 participants discussed more than 90 sessions on regulation, innovation, and technology.

Role for Emerging Technology in Life Sciences

Among high spots are the spotlight session involving leaders from NTT DATA, executives of MERCK Group, and consultants from MSU Consulting on: “The Evolutionary Impact of Emerging Technologies Shaping the Future of the Life Science Industry.” There is discussion regarding the quantum computers, and of course, blockchain, which also are among those technologies with a capability to propel pharmaceuticals through R&D to commercialization. Important themes included what regulators need from vendors to evolve regulatory frameworks and standards for the needs of new emerging technologies; future directions of personalized medicine and where digital twins have a play in drug development, and even blockchain’s capabilities toward ensuring data integrity in the management of data clinical trials along with patient care information.

Life Sciences Digital Transformation with NTT DATA

Three days of high output on Life Sciences’s Digital Transformation. The most interesting innovation here is Dolffia-an AI-based and NLP-based document processing platform. The kind of capability that helps automate classification of various kinds of documents and extraction of relevant data from unstructured sources is a very strong capability in the management of huge medical datasets. The system ensures regulatory compliance, enhances accuracy, reduces human errors, and improves resource management through domain-specific insights from real-world medical data.

NTT DATA has also published its newest whitepaper, “Digitally Transforming Life Sciences,” in which it has outlined important digital trends and innovative applications of advanced technology across various use cases in the industry. The book is centered on the technology-enabled personalized medicine, drug discovery with cloud-based solutions, and Generative AI. It identifies IT solutions on RWD collection as an area of relevance because digital innovation is increasingly playing a greater role in Life Sciences as an effort to more effectively enhance efficiency and decision-making.

NTT DATA’s DIA Europe 2024 has established itself as a pace setter in the digitization journey of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. The innovation-oriented company is bound to shape the futures of Life Sciences with state-of-the-art technology and strategic insights.
